Big Boys' owner and founder, Rodney practically began boating the day he was born and has remained an avid boater and fisherman. From the Virgin Islands to South Florida, Rodney has been in the boating industry all his life. Certified in all the brands of engines we sell with a heavy service background.

Our owner Jennipher was born in the Palatka area and raised fishing and boating on the local waters. She has the task of keeping the crew in check.

Chris has come to Big Boys with a plethora of experience in the marine and powersports industry as a salesman, finance manager, and general manager. Since moving to the Palatka area, he has worked in management and sales for dealerships big and small before joining our team. Beyond his professional experience, Chris enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family, whether he is hitting the water by boat or the trails on an ATV.

Melissa was born in Pontiac, Michigan. She is a mother of three so she enjoys spending her free time with her family. Melissa joined the crew in 2018 but has been around since 2007 when her husband, Jason, joined. Melissa has since developed a love of all things fishing and boating. Her favorite part of her job is the family atmosphere that extends to the customers! She loves being able to put our customers into their dream boats!

Alex was born in Gainesville, FL. He goes fishing almost every day, so he has a good foundation in the boating industry. His favorite part about Big Boys Play Toys is being able to talk to most of the customers about fishing and being on the water because that's what he loves to do!

Matthew has a degree from Wyotech in Marine Mechanics. He has the new age computer knowledge and care to work on state-of-the-art engines. Some of Matt's hobbies are documenting the engines he works on and making YouTube videos to show others his work. Matt has a strong passion for marine mechanics and shares that passion with our junior technicians as our training coordinator.

Jason was born in Fort Myers and grew up boating, fishing, and diving with his family. Having run the parts department for over 10 years Jason is now enjoying working on the boats and installing all the latest technology on our customers' rigs. Certifications in NMEA/MEI along with Optimus joystick.

Nicknamed "Little Tuna," Hunter loves to fish and has been boating all his life. He is interested in pursuing and furthering his career as a marine technician in the future.
